regenerative wellbeing guidance | online + in person

Templates for nourishment [TFN] is one element of my professional expression which focuses on the intersections of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. It offers practical ideas, swaps and templates to guide people on their healing journey to cultivate regenerative wellbeing.

TFN aims to make wellbeing easier to understand, implement and integrate into people's lives, holistically and sustainably, both for people and planet. TFN believes that by prioritising our personal health and wellbeing together, we build inner resilience and capacity to meet life's challenges, which will ripple out into our work of building healthier communities.

TFN seeks to offer this through multiple streams, including:

  • publishing online (via substack) and in print (zines)

  • a tailored one-to-one support service

  • group events such as workshops, grief cafes + ritual spaces

My climate activism centers on the health and well-being of humans…

Why? Because I can see that humans are the cause of this unbalancing of the earth because we as a species are deeply unbalanced; our trauma is infecting the earth, and all beings that call this planet home. We are nature, interwoven with the earth, and therefore tending to ourselves, to our collective sickness, is integral to tending to the earth.

The work of supporting the climate does therefore require a deeply personal level of internal exploration, which many people are avoiding - if we do not understand our actions, our inactions, or rage and sorrow, how we are damaging ourselves, or the crutches we are using - we can’t make lasting change!

A multi-levelled approach is needed to turn this back around, across the personal, collective, and institutional levels. We must tend to the earth, non-humans, and humans at the same time. We each have a unique part to play. Perspective shifts on a mass scale are difficult, yet they are what is needed. Many of us cannot reach the whole world, so my approach is to support individuals to shift to create wider ripples. For healing people, heal people; let us spread healing into our communities, far and wide.

You, as a reader and active participant in your self-care, will plant seeds in the collective mind. With tending, with care, with hope, those seeds will grow - we can shift. You deserve to care for yourself, the earth deserves to be cared for.

collections

Through TFN, I will be publishing several written guides which will explore cultivating regenerative wellbeing. Chapters are published monthly as I write them, and PDF versions will be available to download, included within the price of your Substack subscription.

Each collection holds several chapters which will walk people through the process little by little. The first collection, small steps, covers the preparatory steps we take to prepare ourselves for our healing journey, so that we may create impactful and sustainable lifestyle changes we can actually stick to.

Each chapter holds factual information, guidance, journaling prompts, and practices to employ for the month ahead, with each month building upon the last so that you can incrementally shift your world. There will be additional resources, such as worksheets, available with some chapters.

essays

I share both open-access essays on wellbeing topics that feel present with me at the time, and more personal essays which offer a window into my own experience as an example of the topics I will be covering in the current collection.
